This exhaust system replaces everything from the cat back. It is made from 60mm tube which gives excellent flow and is able to handle high horsepower applications if the car is fitted with a supercharger or a turbo. Gives a better flow rate than the standard exhaust and therefore allows the car to produce more power.
One complaint we had with the JDM style exhaust is the road clearance so with this we have ensured it’s tucked tighter to the chassis. If you’re running super low this is the better option.
It has a pair of 3.5″ tailpipes which come out on either side similar to the Mk3 MX5 and comes with everything you see in the pictures.

Made by Malian Exhausts from high quality stainless steel and complete with a full fitting kit this exhaust is really easy to fit and will last for many years to come. All welds are done using TIG for ultimate quality and looks.
Fitting notes:
All Mk1 MX5s – both with the 1.6 or the 1.8 engine, for the later MK1s (1997 and 1998) with the longer 470mm cat you will need to buy the adapter pipe.
There is no mount for the left side tailpipe on the car so we have provided a mount that goes on the car where the anti-roll bar fits, this means that no drilling is required to fit. You will need an extra standard exhaust rubber.
